Don't judge me (even though I know you wont lol), I have currently been released from county jail and the time paradox that I have been experiencing is extraordinary, I'm beginning to realize the power of distraction. When there is nothing to worry about other than "when am I going to eat" time moves fluid in the moment. Not to fast and not to slow, Perfect. To me that's true presents, a oneness with the eternal now. I have been basically doing the same thing I was doing inside, other than my job, Reading books, Meditating, walking, talking to people you know everyday BS. But its weird, out here time moves way to fast. before I know it the days over and I've only done a fraction of what I planned on doing. I guess I have just lost my center or something but it was almost instantaneous I was good for about 12 hours after my release. I have been noticing all the distractions I have in my day to day. I have been clouded by worry and anxiety, and anticipation some of my emotions I am experiencing are very positive and I know "there is no emotion, there is peace" I dig that and I am a hypocrite I know what to do but I never follow my own advise lol. I'm still working on that hahahahahaha.
But I'm rambling , basically what I am getting at is that life in society is distracting. We are surrounded by distractions and meditation only goes so far. I will say that meditation goes pretty far lol it helps tremendously, but its almost like life is designed to speed up our experience, an added challenge I guess. Does anyone else feel the way I do ? or has anyone else experienced this paradox as I have ? Just a general discussion on Distractions in life and how they affect our perception of time. What is your opinion on the subject ? How do day to day Distractions affect you ? Just so we are clear on what I mean by distractions, I mean anything and everything that you could possibly have an emotion about. This directly corresponds with the first line of the Jedi code....."There is No Emotion , There is Peace."
I am excited to hear the responses about this subject thank you and MTFBWY always and forever...............

I sort of got that a bit when I would get back from camping; society looks ludicrous and people act like crazy ants, for about a day, then I end up focusing on my own rhythm's of living my life and I guess I blend in with everyone else
:pinch:
I guess we have to prioritize the distractions, understand their nature and place and how that reflects to how we want to spend our time - don't let those things control your time by stealing your attention - its what a lot of advertising is specifically designed for, for example. Good luck with it!!!!!
