Aah..thank you for hiding Active Shooter training in with Force Protection. I really wanted to read stories of active shooters and scenarios today.

This is a post made out of anger and is not aimed at one person. I'll probably be mad at myself for sending it later, but right now I don't care.

If one more person sends me that lame Rainbow Bridge bullshit, I will throw up on them. When an animal dies it is gone. Your squishy, sentimental poem doesn't change that, and it doesn't make anyone but YOU feel better.

Don't send me PMs about this either. I don't want to be comforted, I want to be angry.

I have literally spent the last six hours between customers at work trying to find happy news stories. It took me that long. Partially because I've actually been kind of busy, but mostly because the news only seems to focus on things that suck. That sucks. The news is making the world feel like a worse place by only telling us what sucks. But they only do that because we feed on that more than the happy news, and that sucks.

I had this demonstrated live (like 5m away with 2 cars at different speeds doing emergency braking!) by Police at their driver training center and it really is the minimum, and in fact 3 seconds would be better. People follow each other WAAAAAY too close. It's all fun and games until it's not. Just say 'zero' when the car passes something stationary, then count 'one, two' to find the minimum distance. People will cut in, but they are idiots

I'm so done with this bullshit. Done to the power of done. I've spent many months on TOTJO, I've dealt with the shit coming from people here, and I've come to a point where I feel... not accepted, but tolerated.

This isn't a guilt trip meant for any of you, and it's not pity I want. I want to prove a point. That being I'm not incompetent or childish, and I will prove this by passing the IP, sticking around until I'm 16, becoming an apprentice, and then a Knight. There's nothing you can do to stop me, nothing you can say that will make me leave, nothing you can do to waver me. So, suck it up, get your own life straightened out, and deal with your issues. Don't make me look like the bad person here only because you can't tolerate my presence. Grudge matches don't solve anything. You're not worth any more of my time.

Then - in the name of democracy - let us use that power - let us all unite. Let us fight for a new world - a decent world that will give men a chance to work - that will give youth a future and old age a security. By the promise of these things, brutes have risen to power. But they lie! They do not fulfil that promise. They never will!

Dictators free themselves but they enslave the people! Now let us fight to fulfil that promise! Let us fight to free the world - to do away with national barriers - to do away with greed, with hate and intolerance. Let us fight for a world of reason, a world where science and progress will lead to all men’s happiness. Soldiers! in the name of democracy, let us all unite!
