humility as self hate/self deprivation....that's the religious version...as far as most judeo christian religions portray it....too much stratification of classes...

to be truly humble is to not hold yourself above others, but also not hold others above yourself...

I hate when I have legitimate questions to ask that sound sarcastic no matter how I try to phrase them. It happens at least once a week.

Also, I hate the word legitimate. Every time I try to spell it I understand why teenagers just say "Legit" now. :laugh:

I try very hard not to hold other people up to the standards I set for myself, I really do. But today I have just been surrounded by so much incompetence that I wish I could fire all of my coworkers and train their replacements myself. Our jobs are not that hard!

Luckily, a quick meditation during my lunch break has alleviated my need for mass firings. Ah, the Jedi way triumphs again.

To whoever designed the Capri-Sun drink pouch, you owe me an ounce of fruit punch and a new shirt. Who thought squeezing an aluminum pouch and stabbing it with a sharp plastic straw would be the best way to distribute a beverage?

I think I just inadvertantly shoo'd someone away from the community.

But, honestly, if you know you hate this community, why would you look for old friends in places where this community meets? I mean, if I have a hate-on against drinking, I'm not going to scour the bars to see if my friends are inside. I'd find a way that wouldn't frustrate me to do so. Seriously, who the hell does this? And why am *I* the bad guy for pointing it out?

I know you were caught by cats, I know your best friend died last year, but I'm doing my damn best to do what's best for you... please, why does your new ladder make you stressed but the old one didn't... they're the same!!
And stop looking at the cats like that... I'm afraid of coming home after work and finding one missing...
