Despite claims to the contrary it's rather evident that some people no matter how hard or dark or tough they claim to be would not recognize Machiavellian or Fabian strategy if the dagger was up their backside. It's grade school levels of predictability and boredom that they offer and nothing more.

I don't know why I'm eager for people to come home. At most I get a half hour of their time, while they're eating, watching telly, and chatting with other people on their phones. What's even the point of coming out of my room?
