From 2005-2009 there was a podcast called JediTrainer hosted by a Huna practitioner named Pohaku (it was later renamed to HunaTrainer for what I assume were legal reasons). Pohaku began the series by talking about how the mind creates reality, and went on to discuss everything from healing techniques to lucid dreaming. I enjoyed almost every episode and think some of you might appreciate it as well.
If you're not familiar with Huna, it's a set of spiritual philosophies that were collected from various traditions, but primarily came out of an exploration of ancient Hawaiian shamanism and religion by a man in the early 1900s. Huna was not intended to be an appropriation of Hawaiian spirituality, but was instead meant to be a framework for new and existing ideas that could develop and change over time.
A knowledge of Huna isn't necessary to enjoy the JediTrainer podcast, however. There are only a few episodes that deal specifically with Huna in more than a general sense, and most of the topics are similar (or identical) to what we talk about and learn here at the temple. The show is essentially about living genuinely, responsibly, and with intent. I think it's very much in the spirit of Jediism.
There were roughly 90 episodes hosted by Pohaku and then the show was taken over by another host, who produced about 15 episodes and disappeared. I really liked Pohaku and his ability to express thoughts and ideas simply and honestly.
If you're interested in listening to the podcast, -here is a link- to the first page of the archive (scroll down to episode #001). Click "Newer posts" at the bottom of the page for later episodes.
One of my favorite episodes was a short segment in which he talks about a surfing trip where he unsuccessfully attempted to fight against the current. It's a simple but beautiful lesson. You can -listen to it here- if you wish.

Thanks, Jayden. I like Serge King. His essay,
A Living Philosophy
, is one of my favorite spiritual/philosophical writings.
