Ever since I was a kid, Halloween has been my favorite holiday. Even more than Christmas. When our daughter was born, I was sad and disappointed that it was something I might not ever be able to share with her. You can't imagine my excitement when we moved to a suburb that did the whole Halloween thing. :-D

It's still a fairly new thing, but it gets better each year. This year was pretty exciting. We ended with a group of 6 other kids and two teenagers. It was funny to watch them all. We wound up at a house that had a haunted house kind of set up. They had a vampire and zombie (their teen children, I'm guessing) who played their parts very well. We couldn't break them out of character no matter how goofy we were. Apparently they also have someone jump out to scare people, but they don't do it with younger children around.

One lady was handing out cupcakes instead of Lollies, which was a pretty good idea. We were giving out those glowie bracelets for the kids to wear so they could be seen better when it got darker.

Here are some pics from our adventure:

My Halloween was pretty uneventful this year.

I unpacked some more of my belongings, and chatted with my boyfriend on the phone. Then I got buzzed on some wine and went to bed :silly:

So long and thanks for all the fish

I passed out candy and the wife took the kids trick-or-treating.

You know Halloween is over when the youngest bursts out in tears and the 2nd youngest starts peeing on a neighbor's lawn.

Imagine a world where everyone does everything as thoroughly as Jestor does Halloween...

Thanks for sharing everyone! I have a huge goofy grin on my face right now. The thing I love most about Halloween is it really brings out the kid in all of us. Not to mention the creativity. Love the pics!!!
