It is not clear that it matters very much.

No one seems to recognise "Liberty" nor "Security" -- and there has never been a more pitiful lot of terrified slaves than a so-called "free" people.

Ideology cannot provide "Liberty" any more than Jurisprudence can ensure "Justice".

On the other hand Compassion (and Responsibility therein) can ensure both ...

And no one, no president, king or spiritual leader, can do it for us.

I hate to sound like a broken record....

But, it depends on how you judge those qualities, and how you define them...

I dont mind giving up my privacy to fly... If I dont want to, I drive, or take a boat, train, or walk...

However, I do not need their security on my property... Just the realization that they will call before the come, so I can bring the alligators in, and roll down the drawbridge... lol
