Number five is EXTREMELY anachronistic... lol.
The rest screw the situation just as badly as Palpy did. Sure, they sucked some of the time, but the evil were the evil, the good were the good. Jedi and Sith didn't matter too much to me when watching the movie. I've played the bad guy, and I've played the good guy.
The problem is when the line is drawn between acting and being.

I was waiting for that wonderful remark, Master Wasn't it part of your signature before the Eckhart Tolle quote?

In case anyone was looking for the list, here it is
http://screenrant.com/star-wars-villains-jedi-sith-history/
Read the comments at the bottom of the article for a few interesting perspectives supporting what has been said else disagreeing with it. I find a few of the comments about Palpatine to be a wee bit too kind, but the upholding of a corrupt system reminds me very much of the story of an Universal Century Gundam works. Have a look at those if you really are bored and want a better understanding of what I'm trying to get across, and if not, just imagine protecting a puppet-master who somehow outweighs the flaws of his institution for "the greater good" of a select group of society.
Also, for sake of adding another interesting yet perfectly relevant touch to this list, check out the hotly contested "Anarchy" thread. Unfortunately, it took a bit of a Republican vs. Democrat tone for a while, but a number of the points made were valid and certainly serve to add to what the list shows. Examine it through a real-world lense in addition to the traditional Space Opera lense of Star Wars
All the best, everyone

When I joined the comunity, I never really gave the Sith any thought....
After joining here, of course I did...
Given that so many Sith join here for conversation...
The movie Sith, are what the Hippies of the '60s would have called 'the establishment', progress through control...
And, the Jedi were/are 'hippy-ish', lolol....
Neither are bad, unless you allow your ego to align with one side or the other...

Jestor, there are very few of us here that are even old enough to remember actual “hippies.”
And I love the comparison… The way some Jedi carry on about the governments, politicians and politics of the world you’d think “Jedi” was the modern hippy rather than a path of spiritual and philosophical enlightenment.
“Peace love dope and down with the establishment.” hahahhahahhahahha :woohoo:
