Music by Proteus

I didn't want to hijack the What Are You Listening To Right Now thread with dropbox links, but I've been having a lot of fun recording some cover play-alongs and I wanted to share them exclusively with you. So here is Music by Proteus. Over time I'll fill it with files and/or links to YouTube uploads. Anyway, hope you enjoy this thread as much as I will while making it. Feel free to comment all you'd like.


The first three I'll put here are three play-along recordings I laid down yesterday. They are dropbox links. I don't know about firefox & IE, but I know that in Google Chrome, clicking on the links should let them play right in your browser. If it prompts you to download, feel free to download them. I didn't want to upload them to YouTube for copyright purposes.

These songs have the original mp3 in the center channel, and my guitar tracks on the wide outer left/right channels. You should be able to tell them apart.

Skyrim - The Dragonborn Comes (Malukah) - Harmonic Guitar Mix

From the video description:

In 2011, a Skyrim fan known as Malukah released a widely viral guitar/voice medley cover of two pieces from the Skyrim game: An in-game bard song called The Dragonborn Comes, and the game's main theme. There have been several collaborations with other musicians with her work. After listening to it myself, I felt inspired to put my own modest little touch to it, representing musically, the sentimental reaction that took place in me when I heard it.

I do not own the original Skyrim music or the original cover track by Malukah which is part of this recording. This simply a fan-cover of a fan-cover, created out of inspiration.
