A good day to die ... but not a good way to die. was created by Alexandre Orion
It was a quite ordinary day, in my sixteenth summer. A friend of mine needed to get the house clean before her mother came home. A typical cleaning really, there had not been a party (not much, anyway). I offered to help.
As it were, she was hoovering, and I was wiping the dust off of the trinkets on a shelf in the salon. Normal just to here : wiping dust, hoover humming in the background.
SHLORGGLLPHGLLLUUPHLORGG ... came to replace the steady whine of the Hoover. So I turned to see what was happening.
Apparently, having taken the pipe off of the flexible hose to hoover off the bookshelf, she had noticed something shiny in the carpet. Not wishing to suck up an earring or something of the sort, she bent down to get it.
By the time I turned around, what I saw was her bent over, one hand in the carpet, the other holding the end of the flexible tube of the Hoover -- in the fishbowl by the bookshelf. A Jedi's attention is keen, but I only got turned around in time to see poor 'Godzilla' (the goldfish ... don't ask!) disappear in a flash into the Hoover.
The Hoover survived. Godzilla didn't.
If only they had thought of hoovering out Tokyo Bay ...

I'm sorry, but when I saw the title, this immediately came to mind:

Malheureusement pour le pauvre Godzilla, il ne se disposait ce jour-là de ni disrupteur ni bat'leth pour se défendre contre le vil aspi ...
C'était une mort sans honneur aucune. Il ne nage pas en Sto-ko-Vor ...

Sto-Vo-Kor. If he has the heart of a Klingon Warrior, he'll get there.

Akkarin, I've got some useful notions of a few Terran languages, but none concerning Klingon. So, could you translate, please.
(I don't want to 'disrupt' Google Translate)
