May 4th, All Will Be Revealed

Star Wars Countdown

Above is a link to the official StarWars.com May 4th countdown, set for 6:00AM. While there is no big issue with a countdown set for May 4th, for I think we all know what day that is, my inquiry here is based on the statement written on the countdown clock, All Will Be Revealed. What do you think it means?

It's given that it has to do with the BluRay series being released by StarWars on September 16th, 2011 because of the evidence found here, on their main page, StarWars.com , and the fact that it also states, \"Star Wars The Complete Saga\". But I'm just curious as to what there is left to be revealed. What sort of extras, etcetera?

I have heard rumours in the past that he wanted to do episodes 7, 8 and 9. I hope that is what he is talking about, because just re-releasing the series on blu-ray isn't really spectacular, let alone worth a mysterious countdown.

I don't know if the rumours are true, but I certainly hope so!

I too, would prefer the announcement of episodes VII, VIII, and IX. There's obviously enough canon to actually follow through with it, regardless of the period of the Star Wars Galaxy the movies could draw from.

I'd like to see some stand alone movies that go back 1,000 or more years. Here's another like with some information.

I remember the deleted scene in the cave when Luke (or Obi-Wan? can't remember which) makes his lightsaber. As far as I can remember that scene was actually filmed after the filming was done! haha

I think Lucas got someone else to act that scene (hence why you don't see the face).

But that's as much as I can remember. It also appears that yes that the blu-ray release is what the countdown is for which is a shame.

I read an interview with Mark Hamill and he said he did not film that scene. There's not telling when it was actually filmed. It may have been as late as during one of the prequels.

I'd be interested in seeing that interview.
