The glass is \"full\" of something even in a perfect vacuum the very fabric of space itself full of its foaming quantum chaos permeates everything in the universe. My personal answer when I was in middle school was that it was at 50% of its capacity for both an that is the only correct answer. At which point I was told that I had answered the question incorrectly, and at this point I said that the question was asked incorrectly. Because, the original question is redundant. To ask is it half full or half empty is to have made a logic statement all ready with the word \"or\" denoting it must be either of the answers and not both. However, as both answers are in fact not wrong and both answers cannot be stated at the same time due to the \"or\" statement one must assume the status of the glass is not in question at all or that the person questioning its status is in error and would like to know the status of the glass rather than posing this question that cannot be answered with just one of the choices. In conclusion when posed with a glass filled to 50% of its capacity and someone asking half full or half empty you will not be wrong to answer them \"no\" it is not half full or half empty it is half full and half empty or if you prefer a single choice answer it full and when asked the nearly guaranteed follow up to this \"of what\" you can respond with \"existence\". I'm sure there may be further delving that can be done into this old tool of psychology but I will save my fingers for another time. Until then MTFBWYA.
