was cruising the net and found this video...it got me thinking, if it is chupacabra then how do people react....the same way they do with anything else that they find frightening....they kill it....if it is chupacabra then it should be left alone and allowed to live because it is no doubt a very rare creature. i understand the farmers being concerned for their livestock, however they can take other measures rather then killing a rare creature....personally i think it is simply a sickly hairless canine most likely a coyote with mange....it could also be a new breed of hairless canine....either way they should have trapped it in a livecage rather then kill it...

here's the link to the article and video:

I can totaly agree with you, RyuJin. That is one of the biggest issues with human kind and I believe I touched on it a bit in the blog about life on other planets or in the post about Chariots of the Gods. To elaborate, when it comes to talks about aliens visiting the earth eveyone is afraid of being abducted, experimented on, or even killed. However, are we not doing the same thing to every new life that we find. Capture, kill, disect, etc. I have always believe that we judge by our own standards such that: a dishonest person feels everyone is dishonest, I thief will think people are stealing from them, a murderer is alwas thinking someone will try to kill them, and on and on. Once we learn to respect all life as we are being taught here at the temple then we may stop being a paranoid about being harmed by everything we don't understand. As RyuJin said find a way to protect your self and your Flock, stock or other things and stop killing everything. I have learned that everything has its place in life as I said elsewhere I no longer fear spiders nor do I try to kill everyone I see now. With out spiders other insects would run rampent like flies and moths. Lets Leave the sickly dogs or Chupacabras alone because the more aggressive we are to them the worse they will be to us.

it's kinda funny you mention spiders...i still get creeped out by them, but i leave them be...spiders,roaches and certain types of beetles creep me out, but as you pointed out they serve a purpose...some of the areas i work in at night are filled with various wildlife and the animals have a tendency to run out in front of my car...so i slow down and wait....sometimes i sit and just watch....
