the contractor was right personal politics do play a part in the decision to accept/decline a job. the size of the part varies from individual to individual though

Well, I mean... if my government came and told me: \"We want you to help us build a new weapon,\" (not that I'm qualified, but you get the gist) then I would turn them down flatly. There is not only no need for more weapons, but I don't want to promote the idea of weapons solving issues.

But, knowing the Empire the way that generally everyone does, wouldn't they tend to press-gang people who were reluctant into service? The greater good would lead them to death one way or another, wouldn't it?

Complex issue, but the overly-simplistic response as Jay steals sandwiches in the store (yes, eating it without paying for it is technically stealing) has a really good comedic punch to it. Wow, I'm way over-thinking this.

Let's just laugh and not analyze it to death, eh? ;)

on a somewhat related matter did you catch the story about kevin \"silent bob\" smith getting booted from a flight....a 14 inch wide seat is rather small...i don't know too many adult males that would fit in that....my laptop wouldn't even fit in that
