Well I half agree with that John, and did get a kick out of it, even though I'm a member of both the Campaign for Liberty and the Tea Party movement.

One option was to let GM go bankrupt and let all those folks loose their jobs and pensions. The government bought GM instead.

We know from The Great Depression that money must get pumped into the economy to get it going again and the stock market is way up from a year ago and the economy is much better than it was a year ago.

Unamerican depends on what a person believes is right. 65-67% of Americans want a public health option.

Socialism. I'm sure you know what that means but most people using the word these days do not.

I think you may be missing the point John, in a big way. First off we've been a socialist nation for decades. The day we started with social programs we started down that road. So it's not really Obama's fault. He's just following in a long line of Presidents who have eroded our Constitution. Your right that most people don't understand what Socialist is, but even less understand what Capitalism is in the Constitutional sense. The sheeple have been indoctrinated in the party line from day one. Enough of that though, on to your key points.

ABSOLUTELY It should have gone down. It's not only been run poorly for years, but it's also been bogged down by regulations that have rendered it almost ineffective by the same Government that \"saved\" it. What would have happened if you really understood the free market, provided it was let alone to be free, is this; The bad parts of GM would have fallen off and the good parts would have been picked up by healthier companies. Simple. Yet after billions of dollars they still went bankrupt. I thought the government was going to save it? They didn't because they can't.

These numbers are faulty at best. I won't argue numbers with you but I will say that as an educator most people I encounter don't really even understand what a public option would really mean on either side, except of course for my doctor relatives and friends whom are adamantly apposed to this option to the last one of them. In fact I still have yet to meet a Doctor that supports it. Again this is something I won't argue as our experiences may differ.

Did I say that last comment is as party line as it gets? This one takes the cake. Are you sleeping with that Obama delegate again? C'mon man. I don't go around calling people liberal wackos. I try to politely educate them as to what that silly piece of paper our forefathers used to found this country actually says. Seems plenty of people have forgot or more likely just never really learned who John Locke was or any of them for that matter. I'm a member of the Tea Party and let me ask you did I come off like that? It seems to me it's the other side that is a little rude and intolerant if all this. In fact I've NEVER insulted someone based on their views no matter how off I may think they are. Yet I get harangued by the left at protests being called everything from Racist to Nazi. It's all because we've been taught that emotion is logic. It's news-speak straight out of a George Orwell novel. If you have to resort to win an argument to calling someone a \"Tea bagger\" then it tells me you really don't have the ability or understanding to rebuke the argument. It's a tactic of the left to go for the arguer when the argument is strong. Yet still I'll spend my time fighting to restore the freedom of even those that would call me names because I understand they really just don't get it. Please before you post derogatory comments do a little research first and not just go with how you feel. You better and smarter then that.

Oh and by the way, your tea baggers pledge while amusing is GLARINGLY wrong. In a later post I'll try and educate you as to the fact that most of the funding is on that state level as it should be. It's government soverntry over that states that's hurting the country as the Constitution states that the federal government is an agent of the states. not the other way around as it is today. Please do try and educate yourself on the topics instead of just watching CNN and calling it a day.

Not being humorous etc: I'm a big fan of the Ninth and Tenth Amendments and of States Rights. It's the United STATES and we all seem to have forgotten that.

The only way we have a chance of fixing things is for the states to get together and call for a constitutional convention. If that does not scare the feds into gaining perspective then we actually have the convention.

If we are going to have a serious debate on these issues we should make a topic out of this section and start over. You may be assuming a great many things about me and what I believe that are not true.
