Its a scary thought that I was about 2 years old (I think) when star wars first came out - and its likely that many of our members werent even twinkles in their parents eyes at this point as thier parents are probably my age

The Empire Strikes Back came out in the year I was born- 1980. For years it was a big event for me when the original trilogy was shown on TV.

Check out the pic on page 6. How happy does Chewbacca look to be holding Princess Leia? Can't say I blame him .

Carrie Fischer was extraordinarily beautiful during this time. Less traditionally beautiful women are always a treat in movies and TV.
