Didn't I argue recently that there was no such thing as a right to live, but that we (life) have a right to die?

Right! Destined? Certainly a birthright. :) No argument intended. ;)

Not with me, lol.... (not that I remember... lol)

Whether we have the 'right' or not, we have the "inevitability"...

Exactly. Death is a part of life. Therefore to be denied death (it's never happened as far as I know, although we could look at modern medical/care practices in regards to extension of life) is wrong, as it is something all other life has.

The cartoon represents death as a completed life, an achievement to be celebrated, and life as a struggle toward that completion/achievement.

Convictions are more dangerous foes of truth than lies.

Not me. As long as everything is working well and my brain is sound (I know, I know, so may not think it's very sound now :) :P :silly: :woohoo: ) I wany all the years I can get! Beyond death may be the next adventure but I'm not done with this form's adventures yet. :)

I never heard it from you, but there is a Persian saying that says the exact same thing.

I'm saying, if both ren and people from ancient Persia reached to that truth... whose to say they are wrong? :P
