Speak for yourself.
Different people work best on different breakfast setups that are best for their metabolisms and other health conditions. For myself and most people I know, a light breakfast is the best thing to get us going since it doesn't tire the body out while trying to digest through the mass of calories that you've just stuffed yourself with (healthy or not, heavy is heavy). Everytime I've ever eaten just enough to give me that boost until lunch, I've always been at peak performance. Then lunch time comes around, and I load up a good bit more. But for me anyway, I tend to eat several smaller meals throughout the day than eat fewer larger meals. This keeps my system in a consistent, fluent, yet non-heavy cycle, while letting me manage my weight throughout the month with much more precise control.
Was a comment I tried to make on Lifehacker about the top 5 things successful people do in the morning, on the topic of "eating a healthy breakfast". I don't even know if it posted because it wouldn't let me see... but there it is anyway.

haha, a archived reddit thread i just sent to my ex-gf on online dating:
'If you're a guy, you'd better be attractive, since women on OKCupid apparently consider 80% of men "below average" (EDIT: Actual stat from OKTrends[1] , so don't bitch at me about the number). If you're a woman, being average will still work.
Beyond that, it's a wasteland.
From a woman's perspective, she uploads a few photos and writes a few words and is almost instantly overwhelmed with a huge number of messages that don't contain much more than "hey bab wanna f". She's got to sort through a billion of these to get to one not copy/pasted by someone who doesn't know what a dictionary is and certainly couldn't spell it. Then when she finds one, odds are she won't find him attractive. Eventually she grows cynical, stops reading every message, and her profile sprouts a disclaimer about how spelling and grammar are required. Eventually it either requires Herculean effort and good luck to get her attention or she just leaves.
From a man's perspective, he has to do all the work. Women very rarely come to him. Unless he's actively messaging women, he gets one profile view a month and zero messages. He spends lots of time carefully crafting messages designed to attract the interest of a woman he finds interesting. Shortly, he discovers that if he's lucky he'll get a profile-view and that the response rate is truly abysmal. At this point he realizes it's a numbers game to get responses from women at all, as many of them clearly never respond, and begins to craft his strategy for that.
Result? Unless you're attractive, it's a complete wasteland. If you're an attractive woman, you will be slammed with attention from guys you don't want to deal with. If you're an attractive man, you will get exactly what you want - lots of pretty women to choose from.
tl;dr: It's like the bar scene, but worse.

"That 'Santa is Odin' thing earlier didn't copy right, and you only got the one picture. Here's the whole thing. http://www.reddit.com/tb/1ryu8h"
I had sent that to a few friends, and I had copied the message from one and sent it to another.
