me and my gf anthropomorphize our furkids to a ridiculous extent, but in particular with our (probably) english shepard, tawny. and we like to talk to her in dog voice (that she now recognizes are her 'own' voice coming from us), generally while she is sitting in front of us or near. and a lot of the time, while staring intently at us, she will break eye contact and stare at the ceiling for a few seconds.

so we are pretty sure she is actually deeply religious and is praying to Dogod, an ancient wolfmother warrior priestess, for guidance.

todays: 'are you there, dogod? its hot outside and im panting heavily and paul is making fun of me. please smite him harder than he has already been smoten. love you, dogod.'

yesterday: 'dogod? can you afflict aidan with clumsiness, so that he might drop even more of his supper onto the floor? i would woof a thousand praises, dogod.'

and so on. i KNOW some of yall do some wacky animal crap too, it cant be just us.

...no.. pretty sure it's just you!

Nah, honestly, sometimes in an attempt to make my children laugh hysterically, I'll do the voices for the animals. That's pretty weird.. but they love it and it keeps me entertained for a while.
