I've mostly always been oriented toward 'night'.
When I was conceived, but not yet born, my mother would often stay up until very late - 2 or 3 a.m. to wait for my father, who enjoyed working in his workshop through these hours as he was not disturbed then. So, after I was born, and throughout now even, I can get up and be active in the morning, but I am not at my most effecient until mid-afternoon.
Needless to saye, I did better in grad school than in undergrad ...

I don't do mornings.
Walking, stumbling on these shadowfeet
Part of the seduction of most religions is the idea that if you just say the right things and believe really hard, your salvation will be at hand.

Ugh...I hate mornings. I can, and do, perform a myriad of tasks every morning, but I hate it. I am at my most chipper around mid-afternoon.

The morning is great, full of promises and mysteries. I love the quietness and the birdsong, and trying to not make a sound when you leave the house.

I like to stay up late and get up early...
It catches up with me, eventually, but I keep doing it.
