Its important to remember basically everyone worth their salt has anxiety. Some are crippled by it. Others not so much. But it fuels us, helps us be human. Keeps us safe.
The movie "Inside Out" had five emotions to make up all of all characters emotions. Fear (another name for anxiety) was one of them. And its job was to make us aware of our surroundings, almost a form of empathy but for the self and our safety.
Once we recognize how vital it is, it becomes easier to hear it, take its advise, but not be ruled by it.
