Holiday Helplines and Crisislines

The holidays can be an extremely rough time of year for many people, and some are hit harder than others. While the Clergy are always here for you, the Clergy are not licensed therapists and sometimes you just need someone a little more.

In the US, the Crisis Text Line offers help for anyone in emotional crisis, experiencing depression or needing help through a rough moment. Text "Home" to 741741, and a trained Crisis Counselor will text you back and work with you: https://www.crisistextline.org/texting-in/

This is a great option for those who feel more comfortable texting, or who have trouble reaching out...sometimes starting the conversation is the hardest part.
