Anyone familiar with this? In particular im thinking of the work of Dr. Dominic D'Agostino or the story of Fred Hatfield?

The fundamental premise is that the cells of MOST types of cancer need glucose to survive. Ketosis is achieved when you dont have enough glucose in your system to fuel activity and so your muscles start to rely on ketone bodies instead, but cancer cells cant use ketone bodies, so they effectively "starve".

Heres an article (with corresponding youtube) on Fred Hatfield

Warning: Spoiler!

And heres D'Agostino giving a Tedx about how his research began

People are complicated.
