Rex,

Fantastic research, well cited also. As a smoker I will acknowledge that THC in and of it self has very few medicinal qualities to it beyond the high which can in itself be much like a pain killer depending on strain. Really I smoke to get that high. CBD though as you comment has very little research done on it as it is not the main psychoactive compound in MJ. So my experience with concentrated CBD is personal and personal only. Again, information is not very readily available on it's impact as a supplement. As I stated the affects for me have mirrored a less active benzo which in my opinion is a much better way to go than what I ave been prescribed due to the addictive qualities and extreme withdrawal which can occur on sudden stoppage of benzos. I am quite interested in seeing true scientific data on CBD as an individual compound. if you happen to come across any please let me know.

In peace,
Tim

I've actually come across and read through several scientific article's and clinical studies which outline and detail the impacts which CBD has had on both lab animals as well as human test subjects. Most come from pub med and have several pages worth of references to other clinical articles and studies to verify information.

I'd be happy to share links to some of these sources if anyone has the interest in them.

Since I have mental health conditions which can spin me into psychosis if not properly treated, the last thing I need in my system is psychoactive THC.

So long and thanks for all the fish

Pubmed has 21280 articles on cannabinoids.. I just search pubmed for cannabinoid and the condition I'm looking at and usually pull up a couple dozen articles.

In response to Kobos, I honestly don't really know anything about benzos (that's like Valium, right?), but pharm is a sort of hobby of mine, so I'll respond here if anything relevant pops up.

Yes please, I'd love to learn a lil bit more.

Cannabinoids are primarily the receptors (mostly CB1, since CB2 isn't present in the CNS) but also anything that can bind to them (the stuff in weed are some of them). Honestly, I'm not going to wade through 20k+ articles that include few significant results on the use of CBD ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
