I've meditated more in the last 7 days than i have in my whole life! Haha.
I've done non-traditional meditation a lot, but I've been actually getting into the sitting pose, cutting the light, setting the chimes, and letting it go. I agree, it's been great and I'm so glad Cyan posted about it as i never even thought to look for an app like this.
The benefits of meditation i don't think can be overstated: a great practice for the modern Jedi (sorry Cyan, i sound like a commercial again, haha).

If you're doing the IP and would like to meditate on Alan Watt's ideas, I found this guided meditation in the Insight Timer app to be quite amazing: 'discovering the uncharted territory'. I found the meditative state this left me in quite frightening the first time around, though - felt a bit like falling off a cliff. But then, Watts' ideas of the "Self" aren't exactly easy to swallow

I'm back on this after leaving a while back, feel free to add me as a friend. So far as I know I'm likely to be the only tzb on there...
Pleased to see the number of guided meditations available has increased massively since I was last on 9 months ago.

Just a bump... if anyone has not used Insight Timer recently it was taken over by new devs and had a complete overhaul. It's even better than it was before.

Walking, stumbling on these shadowfeet
Part of the seduction of most religions is the idea that if you just say the right things and believe really hard, your salvation will be at hand.
