Just to re-iterate this point for everyone, especially our younger members: a lot of posts can be viewed by anyone that uses the site, including guests and search engines. Some areas are more secure than others but if you want to make sure that something you post can only be viewed by registered members (and NOT by search engines), then use the Hidden Text function:
- When you click on Reply, or New Topic, you will see a box above the text input box. This is labelled "Boardcode". Click on the icon that looks like 2 people (it's about two-thirds of the way along, above the smileys). This will bring up the hidden boardcode. Type whatever you want to be hidden between those sets of brackets. For example,
Part of the message is hidden for the guests. Please log in or register to see it.
- alternatively, you could just type it yourself!
