Let's not go there. He asked a question, it doesn't need to be turned into an argument because your opinions differ. Please respect the beliefs of others even if you disagree...

Rather than respond with our opinions, I think it is better to simply contemplate what he's (she's? sorry, I don't mean to assume) asking. And, respond to them. The time for proselytizing our beliefs is when this person asks us to. haha.

In any case, I would suggest perhaps finding your own balance. Go find a good Sith site (I recommend Order of the Sith and Force Academy) and see if Sith Realism is for you. Mind you, it is not about having Palpatine's force powers (which is depressing, I know...), but you can achieve a power far more useful. I have learned much in my limited time studying under Khaos and David.

Then, of course, try our teachings here too. Do a few lessons of the IP (especially Watts and Campbell) to begin to grasp with what we're trying to say here.

I believe everyone is welcome here as long as the are respectful.

I personally find discussions with sith interesting.

I know I would like to hear more from Sith, simply because I don't know.

I'll give you the same answer as before, so long as they're respectful and wish to learn, it doesn't really matter. We as a Temple are a pretty open minded group, for the most part...

I never liked that saying. A sith has general selfish ambitions, thinking of themselves. The Jedi are selfless and live to serve. I'm a Jedi in the sheets.

Have you found any good sith Sites? I haven't had any luck finding any and I certainly feel like the dark side is stronger in me

IMO, there's a dark side. And why do we need to fix the IP on this issue? Sith have nothing to do with Jedi, since our basis is not in myth. This question might as well be "If I feel like I should follow a christian path should I convert to christian instead?" Nobody can choose your path for you, do what you feel is right.

That's a very old comment from a very old discussion, and I personally think It needs to be put out to pasture like a lame horse at the Kentucky Derby, lol no offense...

What I said is relevant to the current topic. Be a sith if you want to, or stay in this [strike]prison[/strike] Temple.

i think it would be easiest for everyone if there were a topic that discussed sith and darks side that was sticky'd somewhere so that new people can read it rather than opening a new thread

then people wouldnt have to repeat themselves every few months
