Jedi Pastoral Care & Counselling Book

In conjunction to the structure our liturgical Book provides we are planning to compile a a more practically orientated Pastoral Care & Counselling Book to aid our Ministers in their work.

Pastoral care is the ministry of care and counseling provided by our ministers and clergy not only to members of our church but to also members of the larger world wide community. This can range anywhere from home visitation to formal counseling provided by pastors who are licensed to offer counseling services. This is also frequently referred to as spiritual care.

Suggestions are welcome here as to areas which need to be looked at.

Off the top of my head, I can think of a few areas:
-Grief Counseling
-Trauma \"
-Conflict Resolution

People come to Clergymen for advice on any and all subjects, so even a good 'General' background will be helpful.

Counseling of other Clerics
Psychological profiling
Detachment to a degree
Emergency counseling
Rape/Abuse Counseling

I would also add what training is necessary to have certificate for pastoral care, legal ramifications that need to meet by our Order to do so, etc...
