Discernment was created by Jon
\"discernment... mean a power to see what is not evident to the average mind. discernment stresses accuracy (as in reading character or motives or appreciating art) <the discernment to know true friends>\"
-Merriam Webster`s on line Dictionary

Spiritual discernment of gifts, spirits, actions, intentions...is the ability to listen and to be lead by the Force. It is a gift from God which can be enhanced by particular skills which in turn can be refined through training and experience. Discernment means hard work.

One important prerequisite for discernment is being able to let go. We have to be prepared to make a decision, there is no room for both God plans for us and what \"I\" think. \"Your will be done...( the Lord`s Prayer)\" invites us to leave what we want and already have.

A second important prerequisite is to have a 'sense of peace' achieved through prayer an meditation. Discernment means to be sure about what we do. We would do nobody any good if we were uncertain and confusing.

“Wisdom is your perspective on life, your sense of balance, your understanding of how the various parts and principles apply and relate to each other. It embraces judgment, discernment, comprehension. It is a gestalt or oneness, and integrated wholeness.”

A brilliant example of a purely human discernment...

\"Get to know two things about a man - how he earns his money and how be spends it - and you have the clue to his character, for you have a searchlight that shows up the innermost recesses of his soul. You know all you need to know about his standards, his motives, his driving desires, and his real religion.\"
