Would Zoroastrianism (also known as Zarathusthtrian, or of varied spellings of either term) be a part of this rite? This is a faith/religion/spirituality I have always been interested in and am currently starting to follow because I feel it is right.

Good question. I would not consider this as being Abrahamic or in any way biblical. They believe in a duality which is not existant in the Scriptures. Satan... is an opponent but not an equal. There are Zoroastrian Pagans however.
