i for one see more of a relevance of Jedi with christianity than most think to relate it to Buddhism. But I see yoda as a Christ figure a wise teacher whose teachings have been misconstrued by many of his followers. Obviously the Force is God, Christ preached of compassion as did yoda and also preached that death is not the end but that we merely rejoin with the force.
