I wrote another sermon...

But, with Halloween a couple of days away, I thought I'd better write something about it... Or, "Jedi Youngling Day"....;)

I'm on vacation this week, but all that really means is I'm not doing any of my duties... Office duties for the Temple, I'm still sorta here...

A little more than 10 years ago, I started a little haunt...

Cause, really, who doesn't enjoy a little scare? lol... Kids and adults (really just big kids), enjoy coming to our haunt...

Its a bit of frivolity and holiday in the cooler months...

I enjoy it, the big kid in me reall does...

Its for the kids that i do it, they love the little scares, and sometimes I don't have to do anything... They will scare themselves....

Last night, I was talking to my son, and I ask him if he knew why children were so important, he said "Why?"

"Because you are our evolution.", I told him...

They are our forward direction of our species... They carry what we have learned as important, and take it further...

They need protected and nurtured... So they can take the mantle when its time...

And us older folks need to realize this, and do our best to help...

Life is hard work, but, we need to remind them there's fun to be had out there as well...

That there are joys, or rewards (candy), if we face our fears and bull through them...

Its not candy for us as we get older... Happier lives, better careers, maybe cookies... Can't go wrong with cookies... ;)

That's my story for this week...

And my sermon....

Bull through the your fears, enjoy the candy, er, rewards...

May the Force be with You...

That was wonderful Jestor and a good reminder to all out there. I could see your son standing there listening to you as I read, and it touched my inner child. I think you are one of the best Jedi and a better parent.

    Thanks all...
It was a short sermon, but, I love my conversations with my son, he is so darn smart...

I also editted my sermon, so my usually style came through...

My phone wont hold the format when I post it here for some reason...

    Have a good day...:)
