Happy holiday season Temple of the Jedi Order. May many blessings come your way this season for you aWARY nd your O'Hana Jedi.

The seasons are full of traditions and a few obsessions. Doing reflections during lunch or the morning or even taking time to stop and think can result many things this holiday seasons. It is my hope that during these moments, Jedi can remember a few things. One is our Jedi teaching number four.

4. Jedi are wary of attachments, both material and personal. The obsession over possessions and people creates the fear of losing those possessions and relationships which can cause ourselves to be trapped in a state of depression and loss.

During this holiday season, be wary of your attachments. We do not tell anyone which, but we do remind others that they can be aware of a few things. Not going to lie- Christmas is a strange time. In the same few feet, you will find one heart so far away from one another it may seem at times we are on our own planets and agendas. I do love to watch the seasons and one of the reasons is the "Holiday grace" that goes around. I love the season of giving but you can give too much too. You can also focus on things too much even the ones that are a benefit. Br John, the founder often grants holiday mercy around this time, and I can not lie, in my own life I have begun to grace a few things more during certain seasons. Traditions are fun and good and can befit us but there can be too much and even too much of being wary. This season HAVE your balance and check a few traditions, maybe start a few new ones for the old ones that have expired or have toppled.

This is the holiday season, and no one can tell anyone what to do but I can remind you that we can have a good balance of things this season. Find new traditions and help keep some. Holidays can be hard for some and can keep some in a not so joyous and triumphant season. This holiday season, Be wary and be well. May the Force be with you and may you give something this season that ya can't get buy.
