Yeah I was excited to read they had let him see it. Unedited or not, I'm sure today was one of the best days he's had since his diagnosis earlier this year. Here's to hoping he can make it long enough to see the final version too.

Awww, this is amazing! Really touching. I was following the campaign on the Star Wars subreddit, makes me happy to know it worked out for him. Apparently the 501st was going to do something for him as well.

i feel disappointed at how cynical i am, but i cant bring myself to see this as anything but a P.R. campaign

If it was, it wasn't well thought out one considering it took getting the 501st involved to even get Disney to act, never mind the massive social media company. And even if it was, it really doesn't matter in the long run....they still did something wonderful for someone with few days left.

Oh so sad to hear that, I didn't expect it so quickly, though by the photos I probably should have.

I was hesitant to make this, uncertain if it would be taken the wrong way, but I hope he would have liked it.
