China is investing heavily in liquid fluoride thorium reactors, and we should do the same. The long game is won or lost on energy. The oil and coal will run out, and if we are not prepared by the time it does, there is going to be a lot of suffering in the world.

Waste free electricity would be a dream!!!! In the meantime its getting interesting in power cell's. They have had great success in home fuel cell's running on natural gas to produce electricity for your house (gas to power), but also reversing it using excess power to create gas (power to gas) from water. Fuel cell's are supposed to be very efficient compared to current sources of power. These sorts of solutions might work well in poorer areas who cannot afford (idealized waste free) nukes.

Yes water is rocket fuel if we can cheaply divide the o2 out it will change the world we live in : ) it wold be nice to urinate in my cars gas tank if i ran out of fuel lolz : ) no matter how poor you are your pee will always be free hahah

Bingo club? In france we had a fast breeder reactor (salt-cooled, used plutonium, the waste of our regular reactors, as fuel), but the greenpeace terrorists werent happy... So we shut down the plant and made nukes with the plutonium instead. happy days.
