I can't get the video to play...

Saying that, I don't think I can possibly put into words how much I dislike 50 shades of grey.

It won't let me have a blank signature ...

You can try playing the embedded version on the HuffPost article page... or you can link to it via a free proxy site (by cutting/pasting this URL into the destination field on that site).

Or you can simply continue pondering the ultimate mystery of how a book that poorly written became so well read. :)

:woohoo:

That should probably be in the humor section. It was hilarious and I am so happy that its in my life.

At the very end when they're pretty much all freaking out over how messed up it all is I couldn't help but think that a lot of the people who love this book probably hate gay people. Who're the sickos now.

ahaha! That's awesome. :) And so true.

I read that the author of the books was originally a writer of Twilight fan fiction and that the series developed out of some of her fanfic scribbles, which makes the whole phenomenon sufficiently more disturbing to me.

Glad you enjoyed it, Goken. I was just surprised by how awful the narrative and dialogue in the book are, to be honest. :)

I haven't read it, so I don't know whether those quotes accurately represent the book... Though to be fair, I don't see how these guys could expect written porn for the masses to be somewhat also literary art... Everything written for the masses is rubbish. Besides the Marquis de Sade's bibliography should be more than enough kinkiness for everyone (except perhaps Sade himself).

Convictions are more dangerous foes of truth than lies.

haha... Well, I don't think the reactions of these guys represent the whole of the gay community either, and I think the clip was primarily meant to be entertaining. :) As one of them implied, there is plenty of terrible gay erotica out there as well.

Remember Fifty Shades of Grey gas written as fan fiction to the horribly written Twilight series. Truthfully compared to Twilight, Fifity shades is actually much better....if you can even say that ;-)
