We all know the famous line uttered by Obi-Wan Kenbobi in the 6th episode of the Star Wars Saga: "Luke, you're going to find that many of the truths we cling to depend greatly on our own point of view." I can think of no better way to describe the solution to the events of the recent past. Now I can look back on what has happened and be content, as I hope you can. Both Sith, and Jedi had their failings and shortcomings but have now come to a resolution, one that I hope will last. Jedi and Sith both follow the Living Force, "an energy field created by all living things, it surrounds us and penetrates us and binds the galaxy together" there is no dark, and light side. There is just the Force, and what one chooses to do with it. AS Jedi we listen to and follow the Force, Sith attempt to control it. Jedi use the Force first and foremost to help others, Sith are selfish...hence our major difference. The living Force gives us life, and life sustains the Force, it is a never beautiful cycle of life. When our life here ends we will return to the Force, and become one. To close, I want to ask everyone who reads this today to find 15 minutes to meditate on what it means to be a Jedi or Sith, and look back on your past, and see what you must do within yourself to hold true to your own path.
