Jour 99

*

Sensitive to the touch of the Conscience
The hand held out over seven parsecs,
Open to willingness forbidden by a desolate world,
Remains open, held out, welcoming...

The giants of yore confess everything aloud
But make their confessions only in dream,
Promises carried on the liquid light
Conserved under a discrete calendar.

Here I stand
Three me and
a band
of brothers and
sisters and yet
to be defined

I stand and fall
and yet to be
all I
not I at all
but to me the creek
and to you the tree

We’re all in
and
yet
to
be

Jour 100

Ô, mon bel ange,
Le bloc de sagesse qui t'accabla,
Massif et grandissant,
Saturé de sueur et de sang,
Et toujours plus lourd que tes sensibilités
Puissent négocier,
A pourtant séché,
Toute la sueur
& tout le sang
Devinrent des leçons résiduelles ;
Ta charge s'alourdit
Mais ta Force s'augmente,
Abrité dans le manteau de mon dévouement
Duquel tu sors, libre
À planer vers des nouvelles hauteurs
Dans les sens où tu crois va
Révéler le Destin que tu désires,
Ailes chatoient par chaque battement gracieux
Dans la lumière stellaire
Au-delà des faits divers,
Du poids du monde
Et du tendre repos dans mon
Amour fou.

*

Ô, my beautiful angel,
The block of wisdom that burdened you,
Massive and growing,
Saturated by sweat and blood,
And ever more heavy than your sensitivity
Can negotiate,
Has however dried,
All the sweat
& the blood
Became residual lessons ;
Your burden gets heavier
But your Force becomes greater,
Sheltered in the mantle of my devotion
From which you emerge, free
To plane toward new heights
In the directions where you believe will
Reveal the Destiny you desire,
Wings glisten with each graceful beat
In starlight
Far beyond current events,
The weight of the world
And from the tender respite in my
Passionate love.

Jour 101

Les étoiles de la Frontière Orionnaise
Brillent toujours de la même intensité ;

*

The stars of the Orion Frontier
Shine always with the same intensity ;
The circuit completed, the mass of the sun
Captures again and forever the soul's bounty.

The last of a thousand and One pages
Ends not with a full stop but by a trace
Which exceeds it ; “thou” reuniteth my “I,”
A solitary grain of rice in hand.

a tree
In the prairie there grows

In the city there grows
a child
From start to finish
a pawn

In the universe there grows
a galaxy
Captured by gravity
and drawn

In the force there sleeps
a soul
Waiting to become

The Five

In the wind it rides
integers abide
in the formless
divide

Galaxies collide faculties
decried by secrets abide
the senses visualize
arrive

Gnosis overwritten deeply
indelible illusions
emerges all grumpy
volatile and attitudinal
surprise

Anathema the noble
inscrutable the fallen
clinging and craven into
haven

It sees the dream
it feels the scream
I in the end delusion
Force

Dark and distant, lightsrider sings
deep and motile seastrider rides
hear the crackle and the crush
deep within the universe and
deepening the rust

In the deep ocean light blossoms
connects
In the galactic clusters light pierces
the veil
In the earth’s ocean bioluminescent
glow
every night’s hunt writ in the
flow

Deeply connected each one to another
instincts erected in a chemical glow
Forced to acknowledge we’re tidally
At One

This Summer Solstice

This night a Summer walk took me
And took me elsewhere than in Spring;
Late twilight colours hauntingly
Inspired the maudlin muse to sing...

...A lovely lullaby of Hope,
Of Mid-Winter complicity,
Of Autumn mornings' gentle slope
Towards nights of candle-lighted tea...

...Of dreams that dreamt me yesteryear,
A half-a-galaxy away,
As Summer star-light, bright and clear
Shines now tonight as yesterday...

...So distantly and long ago,
So differently and yet so same,
A tear-drop fell from an echo :
The Zephyr whispering his name...

Ergo, I turned myself around
And greeted Moon-rise gratefully;
Heading home without a sound
This night a Summer walk took me.

such a tiny thing,

to grant release,

but such a cold path to walk alone.

And if I am so sure

why does my body react so violently to expel what my mind craves.

Can there be no peace

amidst the raging storm,

each breath counts for nothing

when measured against time.

If I step of this path I balance on so delicately

will you let me fall?

If it is what I wish

and yet I ask if you will catch me

knowing that it is an illusion.

Fly or fall is only within myself to grant.

There is no light without the dark

Driving home, a crow atop
The driftwood tree
His eye aside, beak up, he seems
Inquisitorial, while below
Ancient bodies
Turn to stone.

Arriving home, a zephyr runs
And voices come,
Voices murmur, murmur on
A sussurus of leaves which fall,
Letters from the
Hospital.

Aching for this ghost behind
The darkest day,
Through brightest night, no fear, no fright,
Just no more fight, spectral flowers
Summer perfume
Turning sour.
