I was browsing YouTube, and I'll be honest I spend far too much time amidst my distractions. Likely why I feel the way I do. However, this is worth the watch.

Probably because we should do or do not. ;)

"... many times problems seem to solve themselves, and that by taking action we often make things worse."

Reminds me of one of our teachings: "Jedi are aware of the future impacts of action and inaction and of the influence of the past, but live in and focus on the Now. We let ourselves flow like water through the events around us. We embrace the ever changing and fluid world, adapting and changing as it does.", but this teaching does seem to have more emphasis on actually taking steps to influence the outcome.

I do agree, sometimes doing nothing, especially when people expect action, can make things worse. A lesson I'm continuously taught by this place. But we must also recognize that if we don't wash our dishes, we'll end up with no clean ones to use.

If you like those, there is a writer - author - idealist- theorist person by the name of https://www.carolspearson.com/

Much like Jung and Joseph Campbell, there is a idea of the Hero's Journey out there almost everywhere. She has much to read and much to explore, if you think its worth a look-see. Thank you for sharing these too. I do NOT scroll enough to find these on my own and to be honest, I like what type of inspiration and wisdom other people share here. I am human so I can learn anything any way any time at any place. I will play along to anything if there is music or a good fire.

Funny I was just reading one of her books the other day too. Force works like that some times. Happy seeking and May the Force continue to be with you as you seek it friend!

This video goes along with a runic concept of duality. That a ruin misused can become damaging. There are several Runes this is prevalent in. Ansuz being the first, is the rune of inspiration. However, inspiration can become mania if not properly handled. The rejection of a runic essence can also begin to destroy. Othal, which is the essence of the Wealth, if rejected creates homelessness (pretty obvious). Thurisaz which is a binding rune of defense, often associated with the defense of the home; becomes a destructive essence to the self if overemphasized. Lastly, at least as it pertains to the video, is the torch (Kenaz). This rune is used for containing vital essences so that we can handle them. It is used as a healing rune in many uses, but can cause physical health issues when overused or misused. For those unfamiliar with Runes, they are left overs from the creation of the universe. They represent specific essences of the Force, Tao, The All; such as Justice, Wealth, Intelligence, etc ag nosium.

Spooky hoodoo aside, as a practicing Stoic I have found anger is the most difficult emotion to manage within one's mind. Most often, it is utilized to ascertain control. Anger is, however, a secondary emotion. It is a reaction to either pain or fear. It is a survival reflex.
