In regards to one person being in a position of more relative power over another - The word you are looking for is authority not domination. Especially in regards to a supervisor and subordinate working relationship. Domination implies near total control. Whereas authority implies taking responsibility for the actions of others, much like the supervisor is held accountable for the team. But in domination there is no expectation of a two way street.

Interesting cartoon, but vastly oversimplifying things. For example, taking a shrimp off of his intimate partners plate was perfectly acceptable, but taking a shrimp off his bosses plate would not be acceptable because of the dominance relationship between him and his boss. However, if he took a shrimp off of anyone else’s plate including a subordinate or a coworker that would be equally extremely inappropriate. The relationship he would have with a coworker would be one of teamwork. But it’s still not OK to take another person’s food. The reason why taking a shrimp off of the intimate partners plate is acceptable is because they have a relationship that goes very deep and is very intimate. The relationship he has with his supervisor, coworkers, or subordinates is professional and not intimate. The three types of relationships outlined in this Cartoon is interesting but vastly oversimplified and I feel clouds the nature of relationships.
