If you're wondering where Alexandre is

At the beginning of the month, Alexandre Orion left on sabbatical to a Buddhist retreat. He will return the beginning of next month. It's been a much needed vacation for him and I'm really happy he's gotten the opportunity to take it.

He's written me and asks me to tell you guys he will be back soon and he misses you all. From what I've read, it sounds like he really is having a wonderful time, and it is giving him a peace that he has been long needing. The Force is certainly strong with him!

So, feel free to leave your thoughts, questions, and regards below and/or general discussion about any of it.

There is a library very near here, and some of us came up here briefly this afternoon.

So, this is the opportunity to tell you myself that I haven't been devoured by the TimeOut monster (or any other monster) and shall be back in a few weeks --

-- yes, that means that I may elect to extend my stay, not precisely in the monastery, but in the region.

And yes, the rest was urgently needed.

I hope you are getting the rest that you need my friend. I am glad that your trip has gone well and may you find what you are looking for on what remains off your journey.

I have returned to Dijon, briefly, and am preparing to leave again - either next Tuesday or Wednesday. My destination is along the Spanish frontier, in the Pyrenees ... I'm not sure whether I will have reliable access to internet, but then that is not the objective of my mission.

It has been restful ; on the other hand it is one of the most gruelling adventures I've ever undertaken. It is doubtful that in the days to come time will be of such abundance as to permit me to write so thoroughly about it -- yet, you all shall have the written account of my adventures in the near future. Allow me just to say that we are living in different expressions of time : whereas for most of you, I've been gone a month and a half, I've lived a year or two ... rebounding back and forth through the present moment into the distant past and uncertain future all in the belly of the beast and back again.

Albeit the circumstances at the origin of this adventure were of a rather dreadful nature, I would to wish you all the challenges I've had to face -- these have been worthy of anyone who would consider oneself a knight, a hero, a warrior, a friend ...

I'll have much more to share with you all upon my return.
