There are moments when I look at the rest of you people here and wonder how you can stand living on rice cakes and 2%. Screw this constant struggle to control everything that makes me interesting, even to myself. Keep your lack of ambition and brown/gray "yes ma'am"s. Screw your dark blue polo shirts and weak cologne and parking spaces and considering each other's feelings in forum posts.
We are hot, loud, disgusting, brilliantly colored, obnoxious. The air crackles with neon buzz around us. You can't hide in the corner from it. You can pretend to sit yourself on a satin pillow and be milquetoast until your head rots off, but you can't succeed. That's not what we are.
I can not, will not, ever live my life without passion. Talking is useless. Get up and do something.
And yes, this is the right thread for this. I'm grateful to realize that we are more than this. So fucking electrically grateful. The world is burning down around you and you're praying to a little tin statue of yourself. DO SOMETHING.

There are days when the constant bitching about what a Jedi should or should not, can or cannot, must or must not be really grind me down. I'm grateful that today is not one of them.
Feeling motivated and positive, and glad to have this Temple to practise this faith in without apology for who I am, what I believe, and what I hold valuable.

Grateful for opposing ideas to make me question my assumptions and weakly supported opinions.

Grateful for technology.. I just learned how to keep my journal in voice-to-text, making it searchable and EASY to do. Now I might actually keep one...

I could have posted this in the rant thread, but I decided not to, because I'm grateful that not everyone responds to hate and ignorance, with hate and ignorance.

Grateful for dental floss. I love broccoli, but I always feel like my teeth should not be around other humans after eating it.
