Thank you's?

I'm getting them. Thank you. How do I give them?

It tells you...if you look at the bottom of the post, next to the blue thank you button, there is a list of all the people who have clicked it...

I'll click thank you on your post, so that you can see...look up!

You go to your profile page, Rickie ... down below all of your information is a list of your lates topics commented. Right above where the list begins, there are tabs across the page, the second of which is "Thank you". This will provide you with lists of both 'thank you's that you have given and also received ...

My lists don't work...I've only ever been able to see the first 10 thanks that I gave and received...

I assumed it was like that for everyone and that there was some glitch in the system, but maybe it's just me who is glitchy...

There could be, in the bottom right corner of both lists, a little red "more" which should then affiche all of them for that particular list ...

... ask ren, though, he knows the workings of the site more than I. To be honest, I only recently discovered that feature.

Yeah, I click that and then it will still only show me 10. I only get 1 page of thank yous.

That particular function has never worked the way I would envision it should…

As it were, thank you's are perhaps something that would be best not 'held onto' ...

It is nice to be grateful and receive gratitude for something nicely said or supported, but to be able to look it up a year later seems sort of ... well, frivilous.

But that could just be me ... :huh:

I agree...hence why I have not seen it as an issue worth taking to Ren to try to get fixed

The only thing I would like for ren to do for us is to put the Shout box back onto the chat page. But he's been catching a lot of flack from people lately about silly stuff, and he is doing the best he can -- all voluntarily, of course -- that it isn't really worth making an issue of.

And with regard to 'thank you's -- discovered that sort of by accident, and never really look at them. It's nice to see that on the bottom of a post, but it passes ...

I can't see what I've given or recieved past the first page. What am I doing wrong?

It's all it shows...

I lead the pack according to the Admin area...

And I can only see the first page...

Really, I have only looked at this cause ya'll pointed it out...

Otherwise, Ill just keep doing what Im doing...
