Ganymede progression was created by
I have heard this term from time to time on Jedi sites but I have never really seen a clear explanation as to what it is?

So Im asking,

What is it?
What content is it made up of?
What are its origins?
How does it relate to Jediism?

I'm confused because while Ganymede was a divine hero in Greek mythology he was also the model for the Greek social custom of paiderastía, which is the socially acceptable romantic relationship between an adult male and an adolescent (teenage) male. So yea, Im confused! lol

When I did this in my apprenticeship it was a list of topics that you write essays about with the focus of introspective analysis and contemplation, kind of a way to self explore, self analyze things about yourself you don't normally think about and how you feel about what you come up with. It's not meant to be a dictionary analysis but a personal analysis so your focus is literally how you personally feel about it, how you personally use it or don't use it kind of thing. Used for self-growth. Often a 750 word minimum essay followed by a discussion of each topic and usually when done within apprenticeships you have to do a minimum amount usually 10-12 out of a list of like 18-20. It's a great tool to see where you are on things and if there is anything you wish to improve upon yourself.

Here's a link to the actual lesson: https://www.templeofthejediorder.org/forum/Lessons--Topics/107764-the-ganymede-progression

Some people do these during Apprenticeship, but a lot of Knights do them as well. I've seen people go through the entire list, or just focus on the areas that they feel they need work in. I'm not sure where the name comes from.

A set of degree scheme lessons.

Yeah, it's in the teaching forum. As Senan and Tom said, Knights can do them as part of their B.Div. work, or can assign them to their Apprentices.

Why, I don't know. Where, unless I am gravely mistaken, is from Alex.

33 lessons that prompt the person taking them to look deeply inside themselves to identify their values, fears, behavior patterns, "character defects", etc.

That is exactly what I asked when Maitre tasked me with picking 10 to do for my current Apprentice Lesson. I didn't get an answer

What is it?
What content is it made up of?
What are its origins?
How does it relate to Jediism?

Its a list of 33 topics, for example: Happiness, Acceptance, Respect, Conscience etc etc.

I have absolutely no clue about its origins.

I guess its relation to Jediism is in the way it forces you to self reflect and question your opinions on those topics?
