I read an article about how jedi's wear their hoods, is there anything else like this that jedi's are supposed to do? Or how they're supposed to look/dress?

We don't necessarily have a dress code, it's really up to each member and how they decide to represent their path/faith, if they decide to do so publicly that is...

as far as i know only one order requires its members to wear hoods...we do not...

we have no requirements on personal appearance...so long as you abide by local laws and customs pertaining to decency etc...
