This beautiful building was once the only Cathedral in the Netherlands. The never completed ship was once destroyed by a Tornado in 1674 (Yes we do have those windy whirls in our country, but they are still quite rare) The main tower is detached from the ship. Nothing of the damage remains and if I do state it correctly a project is currently in undertaking to merge the building together using ancient medival techniques only. I have been into the tower and its view is breath taking. (clouds not included with the Ticket*)
