Life after the storm
Rains come and rains go. This is a fact of life and nature. As the old saying goes “when it rains, expect to get wet.” Here where I live, “Aunt Flo “ as we in our family dubbed the hurricane Florence that just came, we were a bit scared. The whole state. Rightfully so, of all weather - hurricanes are the most unpredictable next to tornados which go hand in hand at times. During storms in life and in real life there’s the want to “hunker down.” That’s ok. Some brave souls run tword the needs of storms and natural disaster - to them I say Thank You for your service. I am glad we have not only people we pay, but those few who attach their life’s to master their skills and service. After the storms, what will you do? It’s easy - very easy to blame the storm and become unbalanced. I could stare at my yard and with one hand curse Aunt Flo for the mess she made in my yard and to my home or ... I can roll up my sleeves - clean it up and even further - offer a helping hand to some one else. Really, it comes down to what we choose to do - AFTER the storms of life - do we quit ... do we stay in fear ... do we fail at everything after ... do we let the past keep us or ... do we do somthing entirely diffrent? Can we ? Should we? Can we help others ? Can we make a difference after the storm. ? I leave you with that thought Jedi.
May the Living Force be with y’all !

As it's been pointed out to me more than a few times, there has to be a balance between hunkering down and going back out during or after the storm and helping others. There is a need for both types, and i think you're right as long as we don't let fear stop us from getting back out there; that's what is important

Somthing to think about this week...
It is said ...
“ One of the main causes of our suffering is the seed of anger inside us.”
Thick Nhat Hanh
Taming the Tiger within
If the seed of selfishness anger hate and such can be planted - and reaped - then...
Can’t we change the seeds we plant and reap the opposite? What would be the yield of that?
May the Force be with y’all Temple!

Absolutely!! Changing that anger to love is Alchemy!
From Liber Librae in the ceremonial magick tradition
"Fixed thought is a means to an end. Therefore pay attention to the power of silent thought and meditation. The material act is but the outward expression of thy thought, and therefore hath it been said that "the thought of foolishness is sin." Thought is the commencement of action, and if a chance thought can produce much effect, what cannot fixed thought do?"
Is more simply and modernly said as our own Jedi Creed.
Focus:
Focus is the art of pruning the irrelevant and pouring the best of your mind into what you are doing.
hope this is appropriate Master Jedi!

What has to come ? Will my heart grow numb ?
How will I save the world ? By using my mind like a gun
Seems a better weapon, 'cause everybody got heat
I know I carry mine, since the last time I got beat

On of my go to guys ...
A man's mind may be likened to a garden, which may be intelligently cultivated or allowed to run wild; but whether cultivated or neglected, it must, and will, bring forth. If no useful seeds are put into it, then an abundance of useless weed seeds will fall therein, and will continue to produce their kind.
James Allen As a man thinketh -Chapter 2
*whispers - it’s in our library lol

There was a point in my own personal life I realized I had no control. I could probly pin point the moment or the moments leading there but I awoke one day with the train speeding foward and no conductor. What a scary place to be. Not every one can claim to have moment like these but for those who can relate, there are moments in life when we need to take charge. Fear, can keep us from taking the wheel or giving it up to what ever or whomever is avalible.
If it is encouragment you need - take charge. If you can be encouragment to somemome else - do it. Be the change - Kinna takes a real meaning at times.
Apply it where ever you can and you won’t regret that move. Applications of - be the change- always seems difficult - but let me telll you - it’s worth it. Anynone have moments in their life where they became the change ? IDE love to hear about em. Share with me here ?
Force be with y’all.
