Note on Research Lessons: The lessons detailed here are in-depth analyses of some of the most famous experiments in the history of psychology. Some of these experiments were performed prior to the establishment of modern ethical standards in psychological experimentation; consequently, the materials could make some uncomfortable. The assignment for each lesson is the same: in no less than 500 words, review the methodology, the outcomes, and theoretical explanations of the named experiment(s), and explore the implications of the research and how it does or does not relate to your own experiences.
