Being a Muslim I feel I can speak at least for the non-radical people of my faith when I say that this writer http://templeofthejediorder.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=800&Itemid=41 is ignorant. The writer obviously doesn't know or understand why we do what we do and how the murders of those people on 9/11 pissed us off to. Not only did it look bad but people rose up against something they nothing about and calling all of us evil when we can be the most kind and gentle of people in world. Yes there are evil people pretending to be Muslims. Yes they do things in the name of Allah, that they will NOT be rewarded for. But to judge us all, by what a group of people did is stupid. I fully understand that this article doesn't necessarily reflect this website and peoples views, but I don't think that we, I mean Muslims, stand up for ourselves in this kind of way often enough.

Bowers insults most Christians too but the misconception of the Muslim religion in the United States makes it worse.

She'll tell you that all Catholics are going straight to Hell as are all gay people. She said about one of her missions, Baptists Are Saving Homosexuals (BASH) 'While the effort to cure homosexuals rarely actually succeeds the attempt raises quite a lot of money as guilt ridden fags tend to have large disposable incomes - Praise!'

Ya know I was quite in aw when I found out that had been posted as a sermon. Thanks for taking it serious. I did want to say that believe it not that the Jedi have a several things in common with Islam and thats part of the reason my being a Jedi is not blasphemy. True Muslims are supposed to be very kind and giving. We are supposed to take care of those around as if they were are own family. We are supposed to give charity that we will be rewarded for in life and in death. Mohammad said that even a sincere smile en passing is charity. A clarification for the suicide bombings and other crazy war tactics. A Muslim is not allowed by God to attack a non-combatant. If he does it is a very bad sin. We hold ourselves at extreme levels of accountability and thats why we pray the way we do and as often as we do. During Ramadan we push ourselves to the limit spiritually during our fasting. I can not quite find a way to explain how it feels, but during that time you have almost an awakening and you feel the most in tune with God and the things around you (the force). To the point where you stop caring about a lot of the unimportant things in your life. I feel like after going through such things I no longer waste time and find that I enjoy meditating and reading a good book more so than worrying about whats coming on T.V. or what gossip is running around. Again thanks for reading and may both the force be with you and peace be upon you.
