Hummingbirds are so beautiful...

Today, the family and I, went to a hummingbird festival...

We have a hummingbird feeder outside of our house, and we get an occasional hummingbird... Actually we have two, but that's it...

We have always heard that hummingbirds are territorial, and to try to get a group of them is an exercise in futility...

At the hummingbird festival, there were hundreds of them, all flitting around, eating, and peeping...

It was awesome....:)

The folks who hosted the festival, out of sheer love for it, had refreshments and there was no charge, and they shared their knowledge....

They have 63 hummingbird feeders, and last year, went through 425 pounds of sugar to feed their humming birds...

It was so neat...

Patience... Right conditions, and not listening to "rumors".... This I was reminded today....

Sure, experts have a more informed opinion, but, they can be wrong, and some farmer and his wife proved it... lol...

So seek the opinions of many, but, in the end, there's no harm in trying stuff to prove it for yourself...

This is YOUR adventure....

Enjoy it...;)

May the Force be with You...

(That's my wife's hummingbird in her hand... We "adopted" it, which means the ID tag is registered to her, and if recaptured, they let us know... YEA!)

Nature has a way of teaching us humility and rending us to be humble, and she can do it with such beauty. That is so awesome Jestor.
Thank you.

Brenna, maybe ForceBook would become too similar to Facebook with an obnoxiously large like button near the top of the sermon page? Master, that was beautifully written. Even the smallest of things are beautiful, and there isn't anything wrong...

Brenna, maybe ForceBook would become too similar to Facebook with an obnoxiously large like button near the top of the sermon page? Master, that was beautifully written. Even the smallest of things are beautiful, and there isn't anything wrong with taking a chance or standing for something when others dismiss it :p

Merci encore, and save a cookie or two for the birds if you don't wish to share with us, okay?

Funny how the most profound things can be found in observing the tiniest of things...

In my whole life, and with all the places I've been, only once did I ever see a humming bird, and it was only the one, but the experience seemed so significant that even now (21 years later) I can still remember the details vividly...

Marvelous! Thank you Master! I can appreciate this sermon. My fiance adores hummingbirds and her mother has multiple feeders outside and plants flowers that attract them simply to pull them into their backyard. We usually see one every time we swim in their pool, they're gorgeous little creatures!

Patience is indeed quite important in life, that I can relate to as well. I was never very good at being patient, but I'm learning.
